What's on YOUR desktop?

I love sexy pictures. [shrug] Is this really surprising? Probably not. Nudes are wonderful. Stimulating. Nothing quite like the delicious curves and hard lines [grin] of the bare-naked human form. But what I find even more mouth-watering are the little hints and glimpses.

It's probably also obvious that these images provide inspiration as I write. Erotic romance generally includes lots and lots of toe-curling sex -- if you're lucky -- and visual aids are sometimes just the prompt needed to slip into the mood.

This is the desktop background on my laptop -- as well as the wallpaper on my phone! Her plump curves crushed against his solid chest. Her dominance to his submissive position. Skin to skin. The vulnerable line of his throat contrasted with his strength as he grips her leg. Mmm ... so many heart-skipping details.

So ... what's your background?

And speaking of images that make my heart skip a beat ... just a reminder, Hearts A Plenty is coming soon!! I am so thrilled to share the stories of love rediscovered in this sleepy little town.

Of course, while you're waiting for HaP, please come along with three friends as they find out just how far they'll go for love in Open Proposal ... available now.

Inspired baking

Jared is one of the heroes of my upcoming release Hearts A Plenty and he also owns a restaurant in the little town of Awry. His lovely Claire happens to have a weakness for the delicious blueberry muffins that he bakes each morning. Hmm. I wonder if that's the real reason the residents of Awry are treated to these yummy baked goodies each day?

How about you? Do you find you go above and beyond sometimes to give the one you love that special morsel you know they crave?

Max Starr series by Jasmine Haynes

Jas is one of my very best friends and I am soooo thrilled to announce that her amazing Max Starr series is being released through Amazon.com! Dead to the Max is available now! This news alone is worthy of a blog post, but add to it the excitement of having my name included in the project as the cover artist ... well, damn!

Here is the link to Jas's page where she has all the information about this super hot, erotic, emotional rollercoaster ride of a series:  Max Starr

Congratulations again, Jas! And thank you so much for helping get my name out there. Too wild!

Go team!!

After I received news of the acceptance of my second book, my hubby said he'd like to take me somewhere to celebrate. [sigh] Such a good man I have.

We go out to eat quite a bit, so that didn't really appeal to me. What did have me interested though was the idea of seeing men hitting each other on the playing field and it just so happened that the Lions were practicing down at Ford Field that day. We had never been in the stadium before for anything relating to football, so it was a good opportunity to see the new venue.

It was fun to wander through the doors and feel the excitement. The optimism of a brand new year.
Some may be thinking: This is what you chose as a celebratory outing? And really, let's face it, the Detroit Lions aren't exactly the team that everyone is watching. Hell, even diehard fans have been tempted to turn our backs. That's just it though, we haven't. I'm a relatively new spectator, having just started really watching in the last four years, and I still don't understand everything there is to know about it. I know I love the game ... and I love this team. My team.

I'm excited about the new season ... for the Lions and for myself. Dream big, boys. This is our season to shine.

People watching

Could there possibly be anything more fun to do to pass the time than watching people ... well, that's totally G-rated anyway? It doesn't get much sexier than watching lovers silent communication. A subtle lift at the corner of their mouth. A heated stare combined with that nearly invisible raising of an eyebrow. A secret signal. There's also the way that people just act in general, whether on their own or with a group. Endless entertainment.

New biz card

Yep, it was time to restock the business cards, so I decided to go a different route this time. What do you think? (White lie if you must, because they're already a done deal.) [grin]

Working men

There's just something about men working that gets me going. [grin] While driving through my neighborhood, I couldn't help but notice (okay, I drove around the block several times!) the crews working to trim up some of the trees around the electrical lines. T-shirts, jeans, hard hats, and sweaty muscles gleaming in the sun ... mmm-hmm.
